Was good yesterday, best player on the park for Blues. Spoke well In his post match interview and seems to be liking his football here. I wonder why JE never gave him a chance.

I’m being a bit sarcastic I know why.

Anyway, he needs to be in that 11 on Saturday. Appreciate Long immensely but he is not going to fit in this “Wazzball” in the long run. I thank him for his service though. He’s been solid mostly.

It’s absolute rubbish, isn’t it?

We’ve got players like Bielik, Bacuna, Dembele, Miyoshi, Anderson, Stansfield etc and yet we apparently can’t play a more progressive style of football?

Surely the last thing we should be doing with the current players is being 442 “classic blues”, get stuck in, play it long and hit to the target man?

The one thing Rooney is right about is that if you want to be serious about top 6 you have to get the ball down and take the game to the opponent. Читать дальше...

Pen or not?

I think yes BUT unsure as to why var gets involved as its not clear and obvious. If the ref gave it straight away then I could understand but he didn't.

That’s subjective I agree. What shout have been subjective is that it was a foul. Mental really you have a couple of thousand screaming for a penalty but a ref or lino can’t see a foul. The link had a fantastic view of it as well I presume

It was without doubt a penalty and a red card, how the ref can say minimal contact is way beyond words, and yes the linesman should have been on it too, makes you wonder is it just players who like a bet or two

Had my first chip timed proper run today. Tamworth 10km.

Took a minute off my PB and came in under 57 minutes. Absolutely buzzing.
