It didnt rain
I think the club need to publicly declare that they still have confidence in Wayne Rooney before all the bad feeling spirals out of control.
I still believe in what Cook told us about "world class appointments" "winning mentality" "no fear football" "Blues on the rise" etc etc ... but i sense some others may be wavering
Kop Corner
Is Rooney a world class management appointment? Taking it all with a mountain of salt atm personally. I hope it all happens as they say and we become the new Real Madrid but I have heard this sort of stuff too many times in large corporates I have worked for to get too carried away.

Sanderson's days are numbered under Rooney
looks to be developing well. Played out of position but did well I thought?
His brother did a lot for us. Jobe played ahead of more talented players before he was ready because of what his brother did. He certainly seems to have improved though.
I don't feel any ill will towards him, but I also don't wish him well. I'm just not arsed about him tbh.

Not going to happen, but if it were announced today, would you be pleased?
Wowden
If he really thought that the defending was excellent in that game I for one have no doubt that left alone he will relegate us.

Sheffield Wednesday will probably improve on that run soon.
The 'free hits' are over now.
The next 5 are hugely significant for getting the confidence back.
I think because of the previous 5, we need 10+ points to get the season back on track.
15 points. Piece a piss.
Wayne’s words.
At least we’ve gained 5000 extra instagram followers though eh, Garry?
I saw the interview on Sky. Rooney definitely said we defended well and that overall the performance was good. He moaned about the ref too. Regarding our defensive performance he must have been watching a different game.
According to Rooney on Sky
WELL!!!!

I agree I don’t think any of our better players had good games today. You can’t expect to win away at Sunderland when only 2/3 players have turned up.
