I was obviously being sarcy. But just read through the past couple of pages and people genuinely are arguing they were spawny.

Most people have said that they deserved to win but there was an element of luck in a number of their goals.

Even if you haven't seen the highlights, if I told you that three of their goals deflected off Liverpool defenders. That's not saying Liverpool deserved to win, just that some of the goals were influenced by luck.

Liverpool should've had a penalty at 1-0 down too which would've changed the game, but yeah. Villa did deserve to win comfortably although it pains me to say.

The Liverpool defence was the worst I've seen in the Premier League for as long as I can remember from any team, let alone the defending champions.

Villa could've and should've had double digits.
