I thought, as Blues fans, we favour the underdog, the little guy, the bloke who has fought against the odds, the decent choice, someone who has taken us from nowhere to somewhere .... instead, with Rooney we are giving someone else's relative success on a silver spoon to someone who is benefitting from someone else's hard work.... and not because he has proven successfully elsewhere but purely because he is mates with the CEO
