A quick skim of Rags report makes it sound like Eustace ball really. We've changed a manager and not gained much change?

A very quick skim. Best Man at a wedding today, very lubricated. Equaliser went in just before my speech the bastards.

No not at all .... it was a brave choice of Rooney's to set up with four forwards in a high press, with Sunjic ratting behind, and both centre-halves coming quite far forwards to break up attacks.

Ultimately it wasn't effective, because we only drew 2-2 .... but for a long time it was and if we'd have had more energetic options on the bench it could have carried on working.

It was great to watch at times.... a gamble that nearly paid off.

It's entirely a matter of opinion whether the Eustace approach would have done better - we'd have invited Ipswich forward, broken up the attacks using Sunjic and Bielik as a defensive pivot, played the ball out to the full back's forward to the wingers, the full back (on that side only) would have supported his winger, Miyoshi playing behind Stansfield would have come over to offer a second option, and the full back who had stayed back, on the opposite side would have tucked in and the two centre-halves would have shifted over.

So completely different in many ways.
