An experienced backroom coach (24 replies)
Carl Robinson has done a bit of coaching at a very low standard of club and the other guy Shuttleworth is more analysis as I understand it.
Would Rooney et al and the club on the whole benefit from bringing in an experienced backroom coach (a bit like we had with Downing to assist the inexperienced Eustace/Gardiner/Taylor)? If so, who might be available?
The obvious one for me is Steve Mclaren, a bit of a joke of a manager these days but a very good experienced coach who's worked with Rooney before. I'd be all for it.
