San Diego Comic-Con International is about a lot of things. It’s about movies, TV shows, comics, books, and the fans that love them all. But this year, it’s also been about hats. Yes, that’s right: the things you put on your head to avoid glare, sunburn, or in this case, to signify your particular brand allegiance.

Warner Bros.’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con is pulling out all the stops for the DC Extended Universe. For the latest trailer for Justice League, the world is still in mourning after the death of Superman. Now, it’s up to the newly formed League to face Steppenwolf (Game of Thrones alum Ciarán Hinds) and his armies of Parademons.

We’re far removed from the days when you’d see people at every city street corner being guided around by their smartphones to catch pokémon. But some people have loyally stuck with the hit mobile game months after its popularity waned. Pokémon Go Fest was supposed to be a reward and real-world celebration for those players. Unfortunately, for those who traveled to Chicago’s Grant Park to participate and nab the legendary pokémon, things got off to a very frustrating start.

Coming off Wonder Woman’s success at the box office this summer, Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that Wonder Woman 2 is now in the works. Word came via a sizzle reel shown during the studio’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Today at San Diego Comic Con, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for its upcoming film Ready Player One, and like the novel it’s based on, it’s loaded down with references to everything geek culture loves.

In the Comic-Con trailer for the movie, we learn a little bit more about Lloyd the Green Ninja (Dave Franco) and his family. This week, police announced the takedown of two of the dark web’s largest marketplaces for illegal goods: AlphaBay and its substitute, Hansa. Through a combination of online and conventional detective work, federal agents shut down these two hubs of criminal trade and arrested the major players involved. It’s a substantial blow to the dark web’s community of consumers, who had taken to AlphaBay, and then, Hansa, after Silk Road 2 went under.

In the miniseries’ latest trailer, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) intones that she and aren’t that different, and that they’re just on opposing sides in a war. But that war will decide the future of New York City.

Marvel’s Iron Fist has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. Marvel TV head Jeph Loab broke the news at San Diego Comic-Con this evening. The show will continue the story of Danny Rand (Finn Jones) after this summer’s The Defenders.

Fox’s The Gifted, from X-Men film series director Bryan Singer, promises to bring more mutant action to television, and fans got another close look at San Diego Comic-Con. The latest trailer shows classic X-Men like Thunderbird and Polaris joining the fight against mutant persecutors — but there’s no telling if their powers will be enough to save the new mutants joining the resistance.

Game of Thrones’ teaser for the next episodes of season 7 was released today at Hall H in the San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s filled with things fans have been eagerly anticipating. As Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish tells Sansa Stark, “Every possible series of events is happening all at once.”

Todd McFarlane has been working for some time to bring his comic book character Spawn to the big screen once again. Now, it looks like he’ll be able to do that, signing with Blumhouse Productions, the company behind recent hit horror films Get Out, Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and Split.
