Греческий журналист Пол Пападопулос дал интервью корреспонденту Vesti.kz. В нем он рассказал о подготовке национальной дружины Греции к сборной Казахстана и раскрыл некоторые детали вокруг команды.

Встреча между командами пройдет в рамках полуфинальной стадии стыков Евро-2024. Для попадания на предстоящее континентальное первенство сборной нужно одержать две победы, сначала в полуфинале, а затем в финале - против Грузии или Люксембурга.

Собеседник Vesti.kz начал с того, что накануне в Греции была грандиозная футбольная ночь, и это касается подвигов местных клубов в еврокубках, о которых мы уже писали здесь.

"Это была грандиозная ночь для греческого футбола. "Олимпиакос" и ПАОК уничтожили своих соперников и квалифицировались в восьмерку лучших команд Лиги конференций", - делится впечатлениями журналист.

"Давление есть, особенно перед первой домашней игрой против Казахстана. Соперник уже находится на этой стадии, и его нужно уважать. Люди воодушевлены. Они вновь рядом со сборной, а стадион OPAP Arena, оборудованный по последним стандартам, будет заполнен, и толпа создаст отличную атмосферу. Спустя много лет болельщики снова так близки к команде.
