DeMarcus Cousins signs with team in Taiwan
Former NBA center DeMarcus Cousins has joined the T1 League’s Taiwan Beer Leopards, and is expected to make his on-court debut on Jan. 20, the Taoyuan-based team said Monday. The team announced the signing in a press release, calling the addition of the four-time NBA All-Star a major boost not only for the Taiwan Beer Leopards’ competitiveness but for Taiwanese basketball as a whole.

Four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins is getting closer to a return to the court. The former Sacramento Kings big man draws strong interest from a team in the Chinese league, sources have told BasketNews. The expectation is that a deal will be finalized sooner rather than later, another source told BasketNews.
