Pistons still don't want to trade Bojan Bogdanovic
Lastly, are you as intrigued by the Pistons’ future as you once were? The core young pieces are Cunningham, Duren, Thompson and Ivey. They project to have a significant amount of cap space next summer. They don’t really have any assets to trade, though, and everything I’ve heard and continue to hear is that there are no plans to trade Bogdanović unless Detroit gets an offer it can’t refuse. The Pistons want to be good and don’t want to trade good players, even if Bogdanović’s role is reduced to a bench scorer next season.

Put the ball in Bojan Bogdanovic’s hands and something’s going to happen. 13-9-5 on 6/13 FG. Just hit Ivey for FTs to go up 4. – 9:30 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic has been back for 11 games, giving the Pistons a lineup that can space the floor and play basketball that isn’t stuck in a phone booth in the 1990s.
Since then, Cade Cunningham is averaging 23.7/4.9/7.0 on 50/31/85 shooting. Down below 3 TOs per game, too. – 10:03 PM

The Detroit Pistons, owners of the NBA’s worst record and an 18-game losing streak, have expressed that it would take a large offer to acquire 20-point scorer Bojan Bogdanović, league sources said. The situation with Bogdanović is akin to the one with Jerami Grant from a couple of seasons ago, when Grant had two years remaining on his contract and Detroit held onto him despite its losing record. The Pistons eventually flipped Grant for a late first-round pick once the rangy forward was in the final year of his deal. Bogdanović makes $20 million this season and is non-guaranteed for $19 million in 2024-25. -via The Athletic / December 9, 2023
What about Detroit and Bojan Bogdanovic? The Knicks were among the teams who talked to Detroit about potential Bogdanovic trades in the past, but I don’t think anything is imminent there. Detroit has no immediate plans to trade Bogdanovic, according to people familiar with the organization’s thinking. The hope is that a healthy Bogdanovic can help Detroit win some games, according to those people. Detroit is 2-18 and has lost 17 straight games. -via SportsNet New York / December 7, 2023
