Knicks remain interested in Dejounte Murray after OG Anunoby trade
The Knicks will continue to be active on the trade market, league sources told HoopsHype. As previously reported by HoopsHype, the Knicks have been targeting Anunoby and Hawks guard Dejounte Murray. While losing Quickley seemingly hurts a potential trade package for Murray on paper, Murray remains a player the Knicks are interested in acquiring, league sources said.

Not sure anybody saw this particular deal coming – Ujiri has long been reluctant to move Anunoby… but interesting that Achiuwa and Flynn (regulars through the first 29 games) have been out of the rotation the past couple games, and FWIW, OG hasn’t looked like himself recently. – 12:48 PM

Teams say that Atlanta has been receptive to trade offers this season, the first full year for head coach Quinn Snyder. Hoopshype earlier reported that the Knicks are among the teams who expressed exploratory trade interest in Murray. Moving Murray would be a seismic shift for Atlanta. And it would surely require several first-round picks and young, ascending players. The Knicks can put that kind of package together. But for New York, there is an additional hurdle in a potential Murray trade. Murray is represented by Rich Paul and Klutch Sports Group.
