Actually, no it's not. It means you will only get news from the club, and they'll only tell you what they want you to hear.

It's important to have independent news - I know the Mail's editorial line sucks at times but the death of the mail is shit really.

The club already only told us what they wanted us to hear. Panos would say certain things to certain people to get the rumours going. It was still all controlled by people in the club.

The Mail have the opportunity to add value but instead, they break every story up into 10 different articles and cover the page in ads so it's unreadable without 3rd party software.

Independent news is important but the Mail isn't. If they left and BCFC Followers stepped into the void, we'd notice a marked improvement all round.
