Flew in to BHX today from Rome.
Airbus full of passengers, one bus sent to pick people up. Half the plane load made to wait on the apron and then were told to walk. Prior to that there was no truck to move the stairs so some poor sod had to drag one over. No stairs at the back. 15 mins to get off the plane.
Once again immigration was a joke. 45 minutes to get to a face reading machine. 12 on show but just 4 working. 3 people in front of me had the machine tell them to seek assistance and... Читать дальше...
I was there this weekend and the locals were very friendly.
I much prefer Glasgow to Edinburgh.
About 7 years ago I did a week in and around Loch Lomond. Scenery and walks were really good and the pubs very friendly.
Also did a week which included Hamilton, Kelso & Perth races. Great week that was!!!!
The only thing I would say is that it does rain a lot. Summer, Autumn, Spring & Winter be prepared for wet weather.
