It's just about fifty years since I too became a Blues fan . My dad , a career soldier was given a home posting ( he was a Brummie but had no interest in football ) and we ended up in Sparkbrook . I was told by my two new friends at Anderson Park Junior School - formerly Dennis Rd , and most probably now Ayatollah someone or other Jr - that I needed to chose between Blues and Vile . I couldn't say if they care or not (I think Davis does, and I thought Shotton did), but to my logic, if they want out and go to a challenging team, then they need to shine. Even the loan players. When their parent clubs ask how they are getting on, the shouldn't want the answer to be 'half arsed'.

Darren dein has taken us for millions so far, most players are spoilt in the club in particular cotterill. Mine was 72. Grandad lifting me over the turnstiles East paddock, 6 years old. Moved that year to God's county and been here ever since. You never change your colour's , never. I'd sooner watch one Blues game a year than go every week to a local club up ere. Blues are in my heart.
