Re: Using Yellow spot for a hot whiskey
Anyone who would spend 9 Euros on a single measure of whisky deserves to have the flu.

Sounded to me like he was a chav on a shooting range
To be fair they actually played quite well in the last match in that way. People saying we should play the kids are rather missing the fact we have played and are playing younger players. The manager had no idea what he was doing last night. He picked Chamberlain who hasn’t played this season and is lacking confidence, who totally disappeared. He played an anxious Sterling out of position (he’s so desperate to do well I feel sorry for him being exposed like that) and the brilliant Kane had absolutely... Читать дальше...
I think there's an undertone of 'I'm rich enough to do my washing up in Perrier water' about it as well.
I think I’ve deciphered this one.
Pot Noodle has got man flu and is not happy that he’s just spent €9 on a warm shot of yellow spot whisky that retails at about £60 a bottle.
Dier looks too much like Nick Clegg to ever be trusted

You don’t see others playing young hungry kids?

Blues have been undergoing morning and afternoon training, akin to a mini pre-season. Not only has Cotterill done tactical and shape work with the players, but they have had grueling fitness, running and strength and conditioning sessions.
Next week they'll reintroduce the ball B)
Our kids would get a result against that crap last night.

That’s what Germany did, and reaped the rewards. France too, but admittedly to a lesser extent.
Anyway, it wasn’t me that said some of the first team squad were not good enough...

He gets a mention from me every time you old bastards have half a mild and start remembering the old days.
Absolutely brilliant bit of tele.
4 Novaks.
Agreed.
That'll go down well with the feckers who complained when Zola had 'em in twice a day, and the fecktards on here who said 2 seesions was a ridiculous notion
Sorry for being dense, so does the non-compliant basically mean not enough investment in the bid?
What else could it mean, with your knowledge?

All the talk of great players of the past, I'm surprised this fella rarely gets a mention. My favourite Blues keeper.
Joined us late in his career from Sunderland (where he single handedly won them the FA Cup in 1973), and was fantastic for us.
I remember a wet Tuesday night at Derbys old Baseball ground. The pitch was a quagmire as usual. It was an FA cup game which was postponed from Saturday due to the weather.
Charlie George playing for Derby that night was superb. Читать дальше...

'Non compliant' how?
There's gonna be a stadium, a fancy basketball thing outside the council house. Can't get much more compliant than that
Yay! We're saved!
guilty he was,and should have hung for it,or however they kill murderers.
Am I mental it's 9€ a shot here but I'm sick

Brum will still win it and it'll mean a much better bid is in place. This is really good news for investment in Birmingham as there was minimal in the previous bid.
I, from within the industry, really see this as a huge positive.
Not after the hull game! I imagine they'll have been worked like feck this week, but will ease off next week and work on the game plan.
The fitness levels must be level to the type of play they want to produce maybe? Clearly, we're going to be ratting at them from the start.
I couldn't tell you what arry's style of play was. Probably because he didn't know himself.
For vile and wolves fans only, article in the mail. Shower of sh...
I think Chamberlain can still become a very good player but he seems to have lost his way.
I would take Wilshere in the squad as someone who can make a difference.
We are crying out for a midfielder with technical ability. The ideal situation is Wilshere gets a solid 2nd half of the season at Arsenal (he should walk into that midfield) and Barkley comes back and plays in central midfield for Everton (as they have a team of no. 10's) and learns the discipline there.

Poor sods...didnt they get the fortnight off? It was supposed to be a ' break'

I didn't say they are the only things in life Doc, but they sure help fill up time at work.
I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't ' GET' cricket. A day at a test match meets almost every type of stimulus you could ever wish, technical, tactical, strategic, that's on the pitch, off it good food ( not Baltic pies) few drinks while watching ( how civilised) great banter and loads of lovely ladies to ogle.
