Re: Fulham. Sorry about this....
And my friend told me later that as I sat there with my head in my hands I just kept saying "Not again" over and over.
Thanks for reminding me!

I believe there is a French air strike tomorrow, this could be the reason.
Done about 48 ish.
Worst Luton
Best Emirates
Favourite Fulham
Watching that ball trickle over the line and then realising the dream would not happen was seriously one of the lowest points of my life up to then, and since. I was one of the last left in the ground sitting on the terrace and feeling so, so, low. A policeman approached us and asked my friend, who had come with me, (A Villa fan), if I was alright.
"He's taking it hard." he explained.
And believe me, I can speak for anyone there on that night, it's been hard to take ever since.
Last count it was 76 grounds with blues.
Fave is newcastle,worst is v*lla.
I liked Huddersfield Town’s old stadium. The pitch was like a billiard table, utterly immaculate. Agree that Gay Meadow was also nice, but the result wasn’t (it was the day Wayne Clarke single-handedly put us to the sword). Didn’t think much of Crewe’s or Stockport’s grounds from what I remember.
Christ I feel old !
Around 75 all with blues.
All liked, apart from vile park.
Favourites Fulham, old Shrewsbury ground, Swindon and Oxford,s old ground.
Only a few away, Maribor and Ajax, and a few times at Real Murcia.
Fulham Maine Road was a terrible night. Coach (Bowen coaches I think) was a silent journey back to Brum.
Watford for me doesn't come close

Fair fecks, the point was made that they spent 15 or whatever on Neves so they're much richer.
They spent money on two or three players, we spent figures on 7 odd and paid big loan fees, therefore the amount spent was virtually the same, it's just ours was spread about a bit more.
Similarly in the next few windows expect us to spend on just 2 or 3 but for large fees.
They're basically a year ahead of us in the process.
I’ve stopped following much Premier League football now. I barely watched a game last season and in the Man City v Everton game that I was watching this season, I remembered why...
Players throwing themselves on the floor and getting people sent off, it’s just so soft and rubbish now, I don’t get excited by watching it. Championship is better, unless you’ve got a team with a well known cheat in it that refs still give everything to.
Not done the 92 but Blyth Spartans was my 100th away ground with Blues.
Worst - hate Pompey and Fratton is a sh!thole.
Favourite - Craven Cottage for the day out.
I can add something to all the detailed accounts of why Fulham in 1975 scarred so many so deeply.
Went back to the coach after the game and all the windows had been smashed.
It snowed on the way back.
That first show at Academy will be one to remember.
Getting tickets is gonna be a nightmare

Eh? You want English sides to lose in Europe?
I feel like they’re representing the country and always like to see English clubs beat the dirty Germans or dirty Spaniards or dirty Italians or dirty French in European competition
Mediiiiic!
I was 13 and went to both games.Blues had a team that was going places and after the semi final draw we were favourites to win the cup.In 1972 we had lost in the sf to the great Leeds team, but that was expected. This was the first time blues broke my heart and i still hate Fulham.
So many times since 1975 Blues have nearly done something and let us down, but this was the first love heartbreak for so many of us
Could have saved himself an airfare and filmed in Newport (South Wales)
Only about 45 league clubs done but I've been to well over 100 when you count non league and foreign.
61 for me, all with Blues.
43/44 in the top two divisions.
BCFC signed 13 but were linked with many more - here's what happened next to the most prominent targets

I've done 62 I believe.
Worst easily Kenilworth Road, best probably Old Trafford, but outside the country, Atletico's new stadium is very nice indeed.

Whatever they used to sell in the Vine,Green Lane and Muntz Street.
impressive number of clubs visited. Can't come close to this. My memory of the worst ground was Oldham's Boundary Park before it was redeveloped, you could dig lumps of coal out of open air stand and chuck it on the pitch.
Think my favourite ground was Shrewsbury's old Gay Meadow stadium with its trees in the corners.
Me neither ......
