Anything & I mean anything by Bruce 'da boss' Springsteen, over hyped, faux Yank pap, one particular nauseating example is the horror show entitled 'Born in the USA' one of those 'made for TV, film, soundtrack type ditties' that makes me want to projectile vomit every time the opening chords are heard, with images of the gormless natives blubbering & looking to the heavens for whatever & the image of their rag of a flag fluttering... I don't think it's a case of not bothering. I'm sure they were fit by any normal standards but football these days is about fine margins. It's why clubs spend so much money on things like sport's science. If the management setup isn't doing their bit and pushing the players, then what you get is what we've seen. A good group will get undone by a fitter, more organised group of lesser players.
I'm interested too
