Well, the refs at Premier League level make mistakes on a weekly basis, and get paid a large wage to do so.
So the poor sops who turn up every Sunday for the love of the game and a couple of quid for petrol if they're lucky are bound to make more mistakes.
The only guaranteed way to improve the standard of what you're seeing is to go and do it yourself, if you're so confident that you won't make mistakes.

Nipper won 5-1 away to a team 2 leagues below in the Cup.
Match - very competitive and some dire tackles. We played well 2nd half to run away with it and ultimately out football them after winning the physical battle too. Something that usually lets us down.
Ref rating- consistent with others this season, shit. Let a couples of red card tackles go unpunished, dangerous at under 16 level.

Bit of a silly attitude. We had a poor ref today who at under 14 age seemed to do everything in his power to get the home team back in to the game. Missed 3/4 clear fouls on our players, then gave a free kick to them late on which was questionable. He then proceeded to order the resulting free kick, which went 20 yards over the bar, to be taken again due to not keeping their yards (as far as anyone could tell the wall were still where they were told to be).
