Banks's Mild is/was a tremendous pint. The decline of the Banks's owned wet led house over here in The Black Country though means that it isn't as common as it once was. Most Banks's (Marston's) boozers now are food led meaning lager and pale ale. My local Banks's boozer is food led pub and only sells Mild in keg which is cack.

Been watching it in instalments on the ipad on my way home. The episode I watched today (six, I think) had a black marine who returned to the US after thirteen months on the front line. On arrival at Boston airport he couldn't get a cab to pick him up, because he was a black man. He had every entitlement to be seriously pissed off.
When the seventh trap opened up years ago we went and got hooked on the rich nutty taste of the Banks's mild, it was a tremendous pint until they changed landlord.

This is what I hate about modern football. The grubby but essential hunt for money. I love what Blues are and what I think the club is all about. I love our reactionary attitude. But then Man City had that for a while. But do I want crazy investment to take us to where I feel we should be? I really don’t know. We have so much to lose and to become generic money driven blank club (Chelsea, Man City, PSG, etc) would be a travesty in my opinion.
