He’s absolutely right, I noticed this against Cardiff. We also seemed reluctant to pass it to players in the middle of the pitch. He needs to bring in Walsh, Jota, Brammal and Boga if he wants to improve this aspect.
Someone was talking about it on the radio in relation to Germany. Apparently the 'dwell time' of Germany was really low a good few years ago compared to Spain, but after they made an effort to move the ball quicker it's now higher than Spain and they are world champions. They included the dwell time for England as a comparison and it was something really embarrassing, we basically take ages to decide what to do and when we do it, it's sideways/backwards/hopeful punt.
