Bored of Villa.

Can we change our rivalry with someone else?

Used to be tasty this fixture but lately it's flat as a fart. We're alright, obviously. Blues can be relied on to put in a shift for a decent atmosphere and give it an edge but Villa are pathetic.

It's like Millwall not having West Ham but Fulham as their nearest, bitter rivals. They offer nothing.

They're cringey. That banner at the end, their two songs in 90mins followed by a slightly louder sing song once we'd gone. Читать дальше...

Is it possible to die, and do you die straight away or is it more like a bleeding brain where you sleep off an illness and never wake up?

I only ask because i made some chicken on the weekend, i brined it before i cooked it to break down the fibre so it is softer and the brine called for 60g of salt in water and to leave it to stand for a few hours. I forgot about the chicken and left it for 48 hours and when i came back to it, all the salt water had been absorbed by the 2 chicken breasts. Читать дальше...

The next live game against a rival is Wolves december. We need to bring something that has a bit more weight to it so that anyone higher than 3 rows up can get it onto the pitch but is soft enough to not actually cause injury. Sausages.

Imagine the scenes on TV when the commentators announce wolves have a corner but play has stopped because raw sausages are raining down from the kop.

Aston Villa players were targeted by sections of the Blues supporters who were supplied with clappers by the club

Dumb question, but three members of staff in my local Sainsbury's had no idea what I was on about when I asked "Do you know where the Bovril is?" One bloke thought it was a new kind of toilet roll (bov-roll).

FFS am I getting really old or is Bovril so far off the mainstream these days that no-one knows what it is. They literally had no idea what I was talking about.

By the way, the staff I asked were all of English extraction - we're not talking eastern Europeans or people with Asian backgrounds, say. Читать дальше...

I thought he was MOM, never put a foot wrong and is getting more confident and looking a good player. Nice to see our left hand side well defended and providing an occasional attacking option down that side also. Hopefully get a few more plaudits for some of his performances recently.
