Dumb question, but three members of staff in my local Sainsbury's had no idea what I was on about when I asked "Do you know where the Bovril is?" One bloke thought it was a new kind of toilet roll (bov-roll).
FFS am I getting really old or is Bovril so far off the mainstream these days that no-one knows what it is. They literally had no idea what I was talking about.

Does extra cost translate into a more wholesome experience? Is is better to go with a "name" company or will everybody just provide me with a deathtrap and then charge me £800000000 for an imaginary scratch when I take it back?

I found Eurocar one of the worst in Spain, but it is hit and miss.
For 3 days you might as well take there insurance out, it will save a lot of hassle in the fact that i have an annual insurance < around 35 euros a year > but you do really have to check the car over and have to resort in taking pictures of any scratches, bumps etc.
You then back on arrival, get somebody's attention to check over the car again and then get them to sign a form to say it was sent back ok... Читать дальше...
