Made the changes today after Middlesbrough, the new formation really suited us, finally gave Boga his chance and it reaped a reward.

I assume that Clarke would've been Morrisons responsibility to mark but he was nowhere near him and check Jota out...he was around 10 yards to Clarke's right, ambling around marking no one
Ffs, he is their leading goalscorer so I'm sure they must've been told do not let him have time on the ball at all costs...He had an age to line up
And don't start me on Morrison turning his back when the shot came in

Personally thought he was quality today. Great tackles put his body on the line when needed and lead. Felt N’doye gave the ball away to much for a MOTM performance, great winning the ball but hardly retained it. Can’t wait for Colin to come back as Nsue is awful.

Cost us 2 points today without a shadow of a doubt!
To not make the pass to N’doye late on in the first half (which surely even N’doye would have buried) was criminal. Then he basically tackles himself on the edge of Sheffield United’s box, they get the ball back, run down the other end and equalise!
Why he’s on the team is beyond me! He doesn’t hold the ball up, he very rarely bring others into the game, he can’t run, offers no goal threat and for decent defenders he’s dream to play against. Читать дальше...

Play deep, put NSue and Grounds slightly higher to cut off wide supply. Nydoye sitting, Keif covering. Press them when their keeper had the ball to stop them playing out . Play Dean forward of Morrison and Roberts. 3-4-2-1. It worked.

If fit who would put him in for the Wolves game? Personally not his biggest fan but this is one of the games he always seems to have a massively above average performance.
