I'd like to thank Davo and the Club for organizing me a ticket in the Kop for the QPR game. My wife & I will be back in Brum for the funeral of my lovely Mother-In-law on Thursday. Definitely not the best reason to be making the trip to Birmingham from around the other side of the world but going to our sacred St Andrews next week will be a brilliant distraction . This is just another reason I'm thankful for being a Blues fan for over 50 years .
Keep Right On .
Steve.

Knowing what happened on Saturday with a millwall fan in the tilton I think, would you let a friend who doesn't support Birmingham but supports the team were playing against sit with you in the home end.
Over the 24 years supporting blues, I have gone to home games with people who support the other team and they have sat in the home end with me. When we've played Tottenham, liverpool, Fulham I've had friends sat with me who's supported these teams.
And same when I've gone to... Читать дальше...
I was in the Holte when Sutton scored, got halfway up and realised what I'd done so told Mellberg he was shit instead

I thought Murphy was underrated as a full back
That's actually a really good article tbf.
Bajrami 100% needs to go out on loan to a league 1 club in Jan.
The clubs youngsters have fused passing football with results and with the door to the first team open will be desperate to join Bellingham and Trueman

Reading at home, betcha.
We beat Spurs 3-2 at White Hart Lane with a belting late goal by Seb.
Memories of this game?
One of the things I remember from this game is that I was absolutely buzzing not only with the win but that we'd finally scored one of of the goals of the season.
I remember thinking for the longest time that on the rare occasions we did score as a Prem team they were never outstanding goals.
Seb's goal was probably never beaten in terms of quality tbh. Maybe Jerome against Liverpool? Читать дальше...
Having had a quick look, 16 years is the longest we've ever been outside the top division.
The longest next is 9 seasons (1909 to 1921, 12 years but including suspension for the FWW).
We've already been out a year longer now than before the 72 promotion, so it could be argued these kids are actually having it worse right now than ever...
After Saturday's draw with Millwall Birmingham City are now preparing for Saturday's trip to Reading, Blues writer Brian Dick will be answering your questions from 12pm

Success and we would lose our soul and the very essence of what being a Blues fan is all about.

Just going through our squad from our last promotion season and saw a few belting names that had long passed out of my mind.
Apparently in 2008/09 we had the likes of Hamer Bouazza, Ulises de la Cruz and Djimi Traore on our books.
Gun to my head I could not have told you these three played for us - barely remember Marcus Bent tbh!
Any other shouts?
