The former head of FA coaching concluded most goals are scored by 3 passes or fewer therefore it is important to get the ball forward as quickly as possible. Dongball can be a beautiful thing but it seems every team is trying to play tikka takka football so would a team of giant neanderthals triumph over pretty football?

Don’t know if it’s accurate but heard someone saying our record was 2 wins in the last 22 West Midlands derbies yesterday. Pathetic really.
Going to be grim next season with the other 3 in the Prem whilst we spend another season wallowing in this division.

I think that’s part of the reason the atmosphere is so bad. Everyone knows we’re not going up or down so it all feels a bit meaningless this season.

Been a fan since 71/2 and thought yesterday this is the longest we have stayed in a division since I have been a supporter. Got me thinking what is our longest spell in any division. The results were not surprising in they prove we have always been a "Yo Yo" club but more interestingly we are currently in our 3rd longest spell of staying in the same division. I had a bet on a La Liga game for a goal to be scored. Immediately cashed out and requested withdraw of the money, which it accepted.The goal was then disallowed by VAR and the game ended without a goal. Waiting to see if the money finds it's way into my account. Any similar examples?
