Frustrating again. But snapshot of where we are right now and where we need to be:
- were in transition, they’re good to go
- goals win games, strikers score goals. They have players to do that, we don’t
- we can’t cope with injuries, they have options
- some things to like, zero points
- in one week, prob seen the good bad and average
Transition can be like that. Guess how much you can tolerate it comes down to if you believe we’re moving in the right direction (or not).
Clearly shows there’s no philosophy. He’s as clueless as he is out of his depth.
If there was this philosophy and change of style that everyone keeps banging on about, you’d sacrifice playing for points and insist on playing a certain way regardless of result.
Players like Juke, Davis and Dean wouldn’t get a look in and players capable of this style are either recruited or plucked from the youth team until replacements are recruited.
A statement can be made that this season is one of transition, with no expectation. Читать дальше...

What's with the god awful subs, game after game?
We’re in December and he doesn’t know his best starting XI or his best formation.
He’s also still making ridiculous substitutions, and keeps playing players out of position.
But that’s alright because we’re improving, despite being worse in most aspects than last season.
It's got to that point where I can't see Blues winning another derby game for a LONG time. Wolves flying in the Prem, Villa will somehow manage to stay up and Baggies top of the table with 1 game lost all year. Whilst we sit, in 15th. Midtable mediocrity for ANOTHER year.

The ground has basically been a morgue since Dong sacked Monk
Looking at the baggies team I can see they identified the areas they were weak in and then invested in those areas. They lost a couple of key players but replaced them well. They did this with a new manager at the helm, too.
We on the other hand are talking about being in "transition". That Pep needs time to meld the team. But I think back to the summer and realise what a mess we made (again) of our business. We went headlong into signing central/creative midfielders and abandoned every other position. Читать дальше...
