I think I saw all the full backs mentioned but for me by far the best was Ken Green, played with Hall who was the other full backat that time and was very good but not as good as Ken who went with the England squad to the '54 World Cup. Winterbottom, a very poor manager in my opinion, didn't pick him.

This is the nonsense to which I was responding.
For clarity, I investigated the origins of the whole of their 20-man squad from their most recent game and this confirmed that their recruitment is mainly from Europe, not from 'lots of young players ... at London clubs'
