I barely care about the Villa... but their news today about being a vaccine center literally says 'our famous ground'.

A little boy, who is having a lot of medical treatment, is on Blues TV now talking to Juke. It is really moving. Juke is brilliant but not as much as a star turn as the little boy.
I have it in good authority that he wanted to go to Bristol City (who can blame him ?).... he was disgusted that we tried to get a fee for him.... so we now have another player who doesn’t want to be here....

For me, 4-2-3-1 doesn't seem to be working. The reason could be not having/ playing the correct players, it may be tactics/ mentality (I suspect it is a combination of both). With Valery coming in, I can see a case for us setting-up 3-4-3, which I wouldn't be adverse too:

Dean/ Roberts, San Jose, Friend/ Clarke-Salter
Valery/ Colin, Harper/ Gardner, Sunjic, Pederson/ Seddon
Sanchez/ Haliovic, Hogan/ Cosgrove, Bela/ Leko

I’m not trying to cause a big sensation, but I’m not a fan of the current formation.
Maybe, as has been said earlier, it’s that neither Hogan or Juke can play the lone striker role, but I’m just not a fan of it. Can’t pretend that I really understand this formation stuff tbh, but from what I’ve seen this season, everything creative mainly comes from the wings, (there’s rarely a killer pass from central midfield) and when the cross comes in, there’s often only Hogan in the box and it usually comes to nothing. Now tv ( Sky ) are saying they haven't, ie they jumped the gun.
Then there was a rumour that Channel 4 might get a slice of the action ?

It's a fair point, Hussain is quite self-deprecating about his captaincy. He describes himself as the England captain when England were crap.
Have you watched those captain's log programmes they've done on Sky?

Some of the performances have been absolutely woeful. We are so unable to hold onto the ball that we're always under pressure at the back.
The high line he's started playing does not suit us as we don't have the recovery pace unless Roberts is playing.
I'm really concerned, the new signings need to hit the ground running as we're on a steady decline.

Yeah, I'm pf the opinion he'll be to replace Cogley as right wing back rather than Colin at RB. I think we'll play 3-5-2 more often as the season goes on.
Also makes sense as to why we were so determined to get another striker.
