It wasn't just that, we defended badly at times. Now maybe that was because of approach but in any event it played into their hands.

bruggeaway

Might still be, way to early to say

Yeah still far too early to call things. I remember Roy Keane coming into Sunderland when they were right down the bottom and then went on to win the league.

Re: Jude

The chance to win, rather than just participate, in the CL, plus the profile and the fact that whatever we think about it, the prem is now the biggest stage in the world (Madrid & Barca will always have a pull but one of them is bankrupt and the other never settles).

And you can't ignore the fact the lad could probably quadruple his wages as well.

Hughton sacked

Small Heath Alliance

Seems like he's a victim of a poorly-run club as much as anything, lots of fans saying he's not the main problem, but he also has to go because it's got to the stage where he can't turn it round.

They sound like they need a man manager to come in, fire the players up and lift the mood - set amidst a background of chaos. Sounds familiar, huh?

Re: Sky red button

didnt work for me either. I did opt to select stoke game earlier in the day . Other games came up so pressed blues v fulham record. So thats how i watched it.

Watching the highlights of their game last night and the place sounded like a morgue. With the team they've got, with their manager and money, dominating matches and they can't even get a song going.

Here we are 4-0 down and singing the manager's name. We deserve so much more as fans.

To St Andrew’s through the road works (3 replies)

Wtf is happening on the Coventry Road. Driving from Tamworth avoiding the M6 is a bloody nightmare now from Sheldon all the way to the ground, and then the Small Heath bypass being shut last night gave me a mystery tour through Small Heath to get home.

Might try M6 to Castle Brom J5 and past Heartlands next.

Re: Reaction: Blues 1-4 Fulham

Played well tonight without much luck. Fulham will probably win the league and were clearly the better side tonight but we go again on Saturday

Re: Blues vs Fulham Match Thread

Poor defending for the 2 second half goals but on the whole very happy with what I saw. Their ‘keeper had the game of his life.

Deeney to start going forward I hope.

TTA sponsorship (3 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I know to all fans the stadium is called St Andrew's whatever the sponsorship wants to call it but I thought TTA's sponsorship of the stadium was supposed to end this summer but it still seems to be used. Does anyone know if it was renewed?
