Women's football in England should be "open" to the idea of a closed league, says Chelsea manager Emma Hayes.
Wonder whether she'd say that if Chelsea weren't in the WSL.

My dad's car was stolen from Lower Dartmouth Street, just above Bainsy's on Friday night some time between 7.15 and 10.15 pm. Just some broken glass in the space. It wasn't in front of houses.
My brother gave them a lift home. They didn't report it until they got home which I think was a mistake - there's just a chance it was still very close and would have been spotted immediately. Also gven the number of police in the area someone might have been sent there.

I am looking for some Wi-Fi cameras to cover our drive. Want battery powered to avoid wiring.
I have searched online reviews but as with most things all seen to get some negatives to balance the positives. Seems they are all good in daylight but many struggle at night which I think renders them useless.
Anyone got any thoughts?
The ring camera with spot light is very good.

Racially abused by Birmingham fans. This is shameful. No player is above criticism of their performance, but bringing their race into that criticism is unexcusable.
I know everyone on this forum will agree with that sentiment, but would everyone challenge that sort of behaviour if we witness it? I hope so.
The majority are better than this.

Was sorting something else out and came across an official club season handbook (priced 1 & 3, free postage) I forgot I had. Quite battered but mostly still legible. Fascinating, particularly Harry Storer's season intro (proud, not carried away by the highs, nor the lows etc - not really). Some great pics including Blues v vile, 9 April 1942 in front of burned out stand at St Andrews (would post if I knew how).
Was passed down by my old man. Anyone else got a copy of similar relics?

I thought the 1942 fire story was infamous. Small fire starts and a fireman throws a bucket of petrol on it thinking it was water. Small fire becomes big fire etc!!
Only at Blues eh. Thank goodness we are not cursed with bad luck.

Now don't get me wrong, we were utterly crap last night against a very poor team .
However, any chance of any team getting into any sort of rhythm was nigh on impossible by a referee intent on blowing his whistle every few seconds for the most minor of infringements . My rose tinted spectacles felt that it was mainly against us .
The recipe of the way Cardiff set up, us having an off night and the ref stopping the game constantly made for an appalling spectacle.
This was the 4th time he's refereed us this season already, quite a high ratio to a little over 30 league games.

I tend to make the trip up to Brum from Basingstoke, can be quite boring alone with the travel and match day so just seeing if there are any others around! :)

All very true, it's heartbreaking, all of it.
Always a shame when a pro has to retire early like that.

He stood and watched utter dross for 60 mins and allowed Cardiff to get on top without changing it.
It the took 9 mins to actually make the subs when he had the stripped ready on 65 mins then switching to a back 5 and asking Cardiff to come on to us even more than they already were.
Dreadful subs and in game tactics. Sorry but this one's on Eustace.
