Jude (Again I Know, I Know)

Small Heath Alliance

Just absolutely staggers me that he’s only 19,
Humble, grounded, mature way beyond his years, certain future England captain but furthermore what a human being he really is, not just his talent on the pitch but the person he is off it, ultimate role model for the youth of today in all aspects of life.

With just a week left in June the angst among some Blues fans is starting to ratchet up. The eagerness for the takeover to go through seamlessly knows no bounds but years of being a Blues fan means that some fans cant help but worry that something is going to go wrong.

Good article. Agree, we need patience.

I still feel "they" need to sell this time and our elusive Mr King will be more than relieved to see this go through.

Best Value English Midfielder Transfer This Season (7 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

3 of Englands midfielders up for grabs this summer, inflated fees for all 3, but which is best value?

Rice (Reported £100 million)
Bellingham (83 million initially up to 120 million reportedly with add ons)
Mount (reported 50 million)

Is great and all that but would nice if I didn’t have to see Leeds and Watford stories every day. They have more news reports than fecking Utd and Liverpool.

Phil Hay basically runs Leeds' comms team at this point, so he can churn things out regularly

Tactical Setup (7 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I remember a few days ago when their was talk of Chong going to Luton, a few people seemed pretty happy about it and argued a reason for it was that he didn't fit into Eustace's 532 tactic.

With both Roberts and Miyoshi signing, do we still think we will go with that setup?

Those 2 plus Chong and Hall prefer to play out wide or behind the striker. You could maybe even consider Longelo as a LW as well. Surely that leads us to looking at the 4231 setup we finished the season with. Читать дальше...

Re: Do you always take your smartphone out with you ?

Small Heath Alliance

The answers on this thread belie people's ages.

I mean, who actually uses their smartphone as you know, a phone? Actually talking to people? Ugh!

Arund the house I'm content to leave it on the side but I'm normally carrying two of the buggers out with me cos of work.

And as for cash - what use is cash to me? The work canteen don't take it, bus and train tickets are both on apps on my phone and half the pubs I go to don't accept cash any more. The only time I really... Читать дальше...

Re: EDGBASTON PARKING

Small Heath Alliance

Parking at the ground sells out weeks in advance. There will be pay on the door parking at Moseley Ashfield cricket club, and (I think) by the Wildlife Centre.

I just tend to either get there early and park around Pebble Mill Road and walk the 5-10 minutes or Park at Selly Oak station and jump on the 61 or 63.

EDGBASTON PARKING

Small Heath Alliance

I'm off to Edgbaston for match with Worcester tonight. First time, always wanted to go. Do you need to book parking at the ground? Where is the best place for parking, not worried about costs as such, need somewhere as close as possible. Any advice most welcome.

Do you always take your smartphone out with you ?

Small Heath Alliance

Seems like the trend is going to be for loads of car parks to only allow payment by apps on smartphones ... ie no cash payment, no card payment

The site says it will effect the elderly ... but i don't take my smartphone out with me all the time, especially if i'm not going further than 45 mins from home. If someone phones while i'm out then tough ... they can wait until i get home and i see the missed call

So i wondered if i was in a tiny minority ? Читать дальше...
