Everything going on with the management of the side and him not being a competent Championship left back aside, early in the second half we took a short corner and lost the ball, Hull broke and should have scored. At the point that they got in to the box he was walking on the halfway line. There’s no excuse for a defender not sprinting back from a corner to help their teammate’s defend. Its a basic. Hopefully Mr. Cole has a word. And hopefully Buchanan isn’t far off being fit.
Very disappointed in Bacuna's booking last night and the subsequent 1 match ban now for reaching 5 bookings, showed a terrible lack of discipline on his behalf.
90 seconds to go in a match we had already lost and in the refs face giving him a mouthful. No need for it especially as he knew he was 1 booking away from a ban.
Just think people need to be reminded of this.
We went 6 without a win until a few weeks ago - with terrible performances at Norwich and two bore draws against QPR & Millwall. Could add second half of Preston to the list which was very similar to last night.

I really hope this Rooney situation doesn’t go south quickly that a chasm doesn’t open up between fans and the board. To the point they the owners think eff this.
While I’ve not seen one poster on here say they wanted Rooney, most said they’d give him a chance. That has to be more than 2 games into a 3.5year contract.

Not something I hold close to my heart. Just speculating as to what adds to the weight of dislike for WR some have, whereby they’ve given him two games.
First time poster but been reading this forum many years and know a couple on here.
Consider myself a fairly sensible person (although have been a STH holder many years). I have to admit not last year though as that last day of previous season protesting on the pitch, I’d reached my tolerance for disappointment and simply wasn’t enjoying it. Back this year though in the kop.

Before we go any further, I know that our manager has made some questionable team and formation selections in our first couple of games - BUT ! That's no reason for OUR captain to down tools! his body language in both of Rooney's two opening games has been atrocious!. No encouragement, no talking on the pitch, just nothing! He should be the leader on the pitch, rallying the lads whoever the manager! you play for the badge on the shirt, for the fans who pay towards your feckin wages! Shouldn't matter who the manager is! My season ticket is in the upper main stand family area. It's absolutely foul. Not so much the season ticket holders, but the different people who sit there from game to game.
Invariably have skin fades, a beard, neck tattoos with kids using language kids their age shouldn't be using.
This is how Derby were when I watched them under Rooney.

I can understand the calls for patience but where is he trying to take us? Where's the blueprint to success? The proven, this works mentality?
