The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game was a star-studded event, with a range of entertainers, NBA legends, and Hollywood luminaries in attendance. Some of the most notable names included Janelle Monae, Ben Affleck, and Shaquille O’Neal.

The highlight of last year’s All-Star Weekend was no doubt the moment in which we got to witness the reunion of many of the legends selected to the NBA75 list. To no one’s surprise, Michael Jordan received the loudest ovation.

NBA insider Brian Windhorst of ESPN has spoken out about Davis’ current situation with the Lakers. The renowned NBA guru guested on The Dan Patrick Show recently, and he took it as an opportunity to drop a truth bomb on AD’s commitment level with LeBron and the Lakers: “While I admit there might be something amiss there, I don’t think Anthony Davis wants to not be a Laker,” Windhorst said (h/t Jonathan Sherman of Lakers Daily). “My understanding is he still is 100 percent bought in on that.”

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado on Friday was named MVP of the NBA Rising Stars game to lead Team Pau to the championship in Salt Lake City, Utah. Alvarado scored a team-high 13 points in the semifinal game against Team Deron to lead Team Pau to the 40-25 win. He then had five points and the game-winning 3-pointer in the final as Team Pau crossed the 25-point threshold needed to win and beat Team Joakim.

Antetokounmpo suffered a sprain to his wrist in the second quarter of Thursday night’s Bucks victory over the Chicago Bulls when he fell into the basket stanchion after trying to block a shot. It appeared his hand got caught in the padding of the stanchion before he fell to the ground. When asked about how he was feeling after the fall on Friday as he walked into Huntsman Arena, Antetokounmpo asked, “What fall?” “That was yesterday, man. That’s old news. It’s a brand new day, man. A good day to be alive.”
