Derrick Rose out at least a week
Derrick Rose, who is out for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz in Utah due to left knee soreness, is expected to miss more time because of the injury. Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins told reporters at Vivint Arena that Rose is expected to be reevaluated in a week. With that timeline, Rose will miss the entirety of the three-game road trip. The Grizzlies’ next game at home is Wednesday against the Miami Heat. Rose has served as the backup point guard through the first four games. He is averaging eight points in 17.8 minutes per game on 32.4% shooting.
