No indication that Bulls want to trade Alex Caruso
KC Johnson: Seeing Alex Caruso speculation almost daily, now tied to Bulls potentially having “fire sale” if LaVine is dealt. FWIW, Bulls have rebuffed all Caruso overtures in past and, at least as of now, I’ve heard nothing to indicate they have interest in dealing him.

Alex Caruso gave some insight into how he feels about the constant minutes restriction that he plays under to preserve his health: “I just kind of play when Billy throws me in the game.”
On whether he thinks he could play more minutes: “Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.” pic.twitter.com/AfpHP9h87K – 11:35 PM

Alex Caruso said he’ll be curious to see L2M for Paolo Banchero’s foot movement on final play. Obviously believes he might’ve traveled. – 11:16 PM

Billy says the plan was not to leave Alex Caruso in iso on Banchero for that final shot. Players in help were supposed to contest but it didn’t happen. pic.twitter.com/9RTzmwbAas – 10:54 PM

I love Caruso as a defender, but letting Banchero back him down without help was too big an ask.
Well done by Banchero, got to his spot and hit the game-winner, that’s what stars do. – 10:32 PM

I’ve been asked a lot about where I think Alex Caruso could end up. So I made a list of possibilities!
Here are the teams that should be fighting like hell for him and what a trade could look like:

More on this storyline
The Lakers’ interest in Zach LaVine is real — at the right price. However, LaVine’s potential availability also hints at the possibility of a fire sale in Chicago, with the organization seemingly looking to finally pivot away from its longstanding mediocrity. If additional Bulls players become available, the Lakers would also have interest in DeMar DeRozan and/or former Laker Alex Caruso, according to multiple team sources. -via The Athletic / November 16, 2023
Lakers insider Jovan Buha believes the team can get one of the three players linked. “I think there’s gonna be a Chicago fire sale,” Buha said via the Lakers Daily. “So, Alex Caruso is obviously a Laker favorite, but Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan — those have been two guys the Lakers have been interested in for several seasons now — DeMar, even going back to the Toronto days, but also in San Antonio. So, I look at those — maybe one of those three as a target for L.A. come the trade deadline, or maybe sooner, depending on when Chicago decides to blow it up. … I think if Chicago has a fire sale, I think the Lakers are gonna be calling them and trying to get in that mix.” -via SportsKeeda / November 15, 2023
There are likewise no firm indications yet in circulation that the two-way Bull who would surely generate lots of interest leaguewide — Alex Caruso — will be made available between now and the Feb. 8 trade deadline. Caruso is in the third season of a four-year, $37 million deal. -via marcstein.substack.com / November 15, 2023
