Went yesterday with the other half and it was a really entertaining day of cricket. Loads of application and though the Bears had the rub from time to time they really worked hard and deserved to make it to (a hugely delayed) tea with Trott getting his hundred. Then out first ball in the new session and before you know it 9-2 and looking rubbish. Bell played well when he came in but it always looked like it was going to be a tough day.

I flew into Brum last night.
Due to land at 9.10, no queues, hand luggage only, on the Train home at 9.30.
Only thing that bugged me, is those shuttle buses/bus to take you from the Plane to the terminal.
Why is there never enough room on them ? They insist on packing them that solid, that the poor bastard by the doors, risks losing limbs. I just don't get why they'd want to make the start and end of your journey, so feckin horrible.
Is the lack of buses down to the airline or the Airport ?

The Mountford is gone sadly was an absolute Shit hole so now the next local on kingshurst is The Punchbowl another shit hole then it's The Toby Jug which is a better shit hole not much selection really
Kits aren't made anymore to deal with kit clashes. No one gives a shit. Its all about ££££.
