I very much look forward to one of t*nk's speculative exclusives coming to fruition.

Summer Row wasn't it?
If money wasn't an option then it wouldn't be the worst signing in the world for Blues, but £60k per (or even more) is just too terrifying to consider. I do wonder if the only reason that Villa have gone after him so aggressively is because Blues looked like they might sign him. If he was going to ink a contract with the Baggies / Wolves / etc would they be trying to sign him up?
If Villa do get him then surely they have to go up this year or it will be financial Armageddon. If Blues are... Читать дальше...

Forgot all about Joel Campbell. Looked quality at the World Cup but I haven't heard his name since.
Strong rumours suggest we have bid 4 million for Joel Campbell
And 500.000 for Daryll Murphy

Don't think you can blame Giles too much this season. The squad was set before he joined.
Letting the only decent opener leave was a strange one, whilst seemingly relying on injury prone bowlers.
What everyone is missing is you ate guaranteed a ticket for any game if your a box holder so you never need to worry about get tickets in demand again
As much as I love Blues, I couldn't ever have Blues related wallpaper in my house.
I'm a bit pissed off with Harry for mentioning this in the first place and I'm a bit pissed off with Terry for arsing about for so long. I'm a bit pissed off with Villa coz it gives 'em reason to gloat about how much more attractive a proposition they are than us, although I rarely encounter any of the bastards so I can live with that. I'm a bit pissed off with Blues fans, including myself, for swinging from....hate the bastard to brilliant player, brilliant signing, to didn't want him anyway, waste of money. Читать дальше...

Jason Pettigrove was the one who first broke the story with a tweet something along the lines of ‘John Terry will sign for Birmingham City’. He’s a journalist for Marca, which if I remember correctly is generally quite reliable.
I've heard nowt more, I think Xia has gone full on out of bravado and it has won the day. The only thing is whilst 'Arry is probably quite open that he'll be out in 12 months, I can't see Bruce saying the same - although he may already be on borrowed time if they don't start the season like a train.
There has been a couple to be fair but that little kid on twitter pretending to be an agent, tweeting between his GCSE exams, was the main source of excitement.
Who was the journo on Twitter adamant Terry was about to sign last week?.
It is fairly close to the city centre, but it's between Miles Platting, Newton Heath and Ancoats. the area was very grim but it was part of a massive regeneration project in the area. We are in a very very different financial climate with a very different local and national government though.
Just had a look to see how many games he actually played last season which was probably more than I thought at 9. What I didn't realise though was that he has only played 118 league games over the last 5 years at an average of 23 games a season. No doubt a fair few were sub appearances as well.
Can a 36 year old really be expected to play double the amount of games that he has played over the last 5 seasons? I know there is an argument to say he will be rested and managed but if you are... Читать дальше...
