Taking a dog (canine) to Republic of Ireland (6 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Travelling Wednesday and on checking his pet passport, his Rabies injection ran out 3 months ago.

Our vet reckons the border control don't even ask to see passports for dogs.

It's 21 days min before we could legaly travel with him.

Anybody experienced this recently? Ta

My sister has travelled from the UK to Ireland (and the other way) many times with dogs and insists there's no restrictions - she's never given any of the dogs rabies vaccination. In fact, she brought our dog over from Ireland when she (the dog) was a pup, along with a further 2 pups ; all 3 travelled loose in the car and were put into the on board kennels during the crossing.

Re: Helicopter watch

I've just seen a helicopter flying up the Tanat Valley from the Bala direction towards Oswestry. If it's the same one, then it looks like JT is gonna sign for Shrewsbury Town.

City center Indian restaurants (30 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Not being such a frequent visitor to Brum these days I've lost track of the best Indian restaurants in the city center. However, I'm up there for a business lunch in a couple months time and the people I'm meeting (who know feck all about Brum) expressed an interest going to one of it's fabled eateries!
I know back in the day I'd just head for the 'Balti Triangle' but that's not an option here. The main criteria is that it's within a 10 minute walk from New St station, and is authentic - given that one of my clients is Indian herself. Читать дальше...

Same person that signed off the wooden hammer for £20!

Re: Our club shop

They haven't got a clue. Not very good stuff, limited sizes, and a lot of the clothes are on a rail too high for many people to reach. Then there's the half pint glass full of sweets for the ludicrous price of £10, and who the fuc3 came up with, and who the fuc3 approved that wooden yo-yo ?

Oh GingerBen, please never change.

I gave the hoodie to my old man actually and I attend the club shop to buy the kits for my lads. But if you like making derogatory remarks about people who support the same team because have an opinion on how the club can make more money to make you feel better then crack on.

Our club shop

Small Heath Alliance

I know it's been said many times before but out clubshop really is crap. Even most of the adidas stuff looks cheap. Why can't they have the club badge sewn on to the stuff rather than the iron on transfer style badge?

Last season I contacted the head of retail there via twitter and advised him of a company called Art of Football who do some nice designs for tshirts and canvas etc. I said he should check them out and get some similar stuff in the shop. Never got a reply from him at all... Читать дальше...

Liege and Lief - Fairport Convention.

If I can have a first reserve, at the moment it would probably be Music from Big Pink by The Band.
