Good evening all
I’ve been furloughed today.
Is there any chance of anyone uploading or knowing of YouTube links for Season reviews from the 90s?
Also, can anyone please confirm that we beat Celtic in 96/97 1-0 and Furlong scored?
Think I’m getting my games mixed up as I know we played Arsenal as well but I can’t remember the scores and scorers.
I think it’ll be announced this weekend.

Yep. That's why I think some sporting events with crowds may still get the okay earlier than other activities

I love a good podcast as I'm in the car a lot - well usually, now I'm at home a lot.
I thought I'd share some that I really enjoyed. What do you listen to?
[www.bbc.co.uk] - About Apollo 8, the first space venture to properly leave earth's atmosphere. Arguably, without this - Apollo 11 would never have happened. This is part of the "Seriously" podcast - some other brilliant ones too.
Staying on the space / moon theme:

Just listened to the carvery visit. Brilliant. Think greasy character will be going for a while.
Looking for some advice off you tradesmen or good DIY enthusiasts out there please.
I want to put 2 garden lights adjacent to my pond. I have an outside light attached to the wall controlled by a light switch in the kitchen. I have bought some 1.5mm armoured cable. Question; can I run the cable from the outside light via a junction box of some sort and if so what box do you recommend or is there an easier way?

I really thought we was going to Wembley all the big teams had gone out, The cup was there for the taking
The final was Watford v Everton
Everton won and they had there best era in modern times, where as we went on a down ward curve ☹️
If say for arguments sake you used a number 6 attachment and go over your head like you're cutting the grass, would it come out ok?
Is it just a matter of making sure you don't miss any bits?

Just go for no attachment. By the time barbers are open it would have grown back anyway.
Git the missus to do mine yesterday.
We’ve got a pretty old Sony Bravia from 2010. Anyone know why getting the apps up and searching is so slow? Are all smart tv’s like this? We don’t have any issues with internet or streaming speeds once we finally get that far.
Don’t want to update the tv until i know a new one will be quick and responsive in all the menus
We were told not to contact HMRC, just wait for them to contact us.
Anyone been contacted?
At what point will you start to think "do they recognise that I'm in this category - will I ever be contacted?"

Just wondering, would it be a good idea for Blues create a KRO to support the NHS or just as a morale booster? Maybe ask musical types or celebs to collaborate (online ofcos).KRO was written for times such as these.
Good idea? Or nah thanks?
Going through old programmes and found this corker.
Name the game where this was the Blues line up on the back of the program:
1 - Martin Thomas
2 - Ray Ranson
3 - Brian Roberts
4 - Ian Atkins
5 - Vince Overson
6 - Kevin Langley
7 - Des Bremner
8 - Gary Childs
9 - Steve Whitton
10 - Carl Richards
11 - Steve Wigley
Subs:
- Mark Walters
- Trevor Francis
- Steve Bull
2 other classics available on YouTube are Calzaghe v Lacy and Morales v Barrera 1, still feel Barrera won that
I was at both and Fulham was much worse, although I was only 9yrs old.
Watford were, as you say, in a different class to us and were widely expected to win.

Possibly one of my most bizarre You Tube finds.
In lockdown boredom have just worked my way through Match of the 70s. Highly enjoyable but disappointing how little Blues footage on there. Thought I'd have a mooch through You Tube of BCFC in the 70s and was astonished to find this. Apologies if posted before.
Complete coverage of the home game against Stoke. Won't mention the score just in case some of you want to watch it in full.... One slight drawback the commentary is not... Читать дальше...
