I cut my teeth down the blues during the John Bond/Garry Pendry/Dave Mackay era. I remember literally shaking with excitement when we got Lou Macari (and after that Terry Cooper). Despite his shortcomings as our manager, that’s just sport; Life is different. I’m delighted that he’s battling through this. A vicious, nasty illness that I wouldn’t wish on anybody. Not least our vulnerable & NHS staff, which is why I call people out when they are not obeying the rules. It’s not asking much, to wear a mask & socially distance.

The Wycombe result was a bit of a freak one though really. We should and could have won it by 3 or 4.
For example we had more shots and more possession v Wycombe than both Sheff Weds and Forest had against them in recent games, but Forest scored 3 and Sheff Weds scored 2.
And Brentford scored 7 from 21 shots v Wycombe with less possession than we had against them.
We scored 0 from 18 shots (just 3 shots from Wycombe)
