Panos vs Dong (2 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Panos was happy to see us sleepwalk to relegation rather than admit his mistake and sack Zola, who famously had to "sack himself" after the Burton game once he realised he couldn't get a tune out of the players.

From what I've seen, I doubt Karanka is the "sacking himself" type, so will Dong be as spineless as Panos and watch us go down rather than admit he got it wrong, or will he pull the trigger at some point if form continues

House sale

Small Heath Alliance

Hi SHA,

I know we have a couple of experts here, Mr Hopkins being a great one, but I have a question.

I’ve flipped a few houses over the last 6 or 7 years, and I’ve never seen this before and wonder if it’s normal.

We need to sell as my wife’s contract with the NHS is up and we are moving to another part of the country, I mention this to explain why we’re selling so urgently.

So, we brought a derelict in a well to do area a year ago. We did it up, knocked through walls... Читать дальше...

A moot point but, from that picture, how do you draw the conclusion Judge is shitting himself?

I think their goalie might disagree ! ????

What a great night.....
To be fair, their goalie being Richard Wright who went on to much better things, won’t care one jot. No keeper would account for that last goal.

But... AJ, got to be in the right position to score. Loved that guy.

Relegation To League 1 (5 replies)

Relegation to league 1 this time seems more of a waste than before.
In 1988 /89 we got 35 points and it was coming for a long time before the end of the season. It was a desperate time with no money to sort it out. little hope of a quick return.
In 1993/94 it was a last day job with 51 points going down on goal difference. Hope was there however for the new season.
This time money has been spent but a combination of a nutty manager and clown CEO are wiping out the season without a fight. Читать дальше...

Yes we could go on a run if we had a half decent manager until that happens though....,

I know things are pretty desperate right now but I just cannot go with the scenario that we are doomed. I have said before, at some point we will go on a little unbeaten run. I don't care what the stats say, if football was judged on stats we would all be very rich. If you all think we are gone then put your savings on it. How many times in recent years have we hovered above the drop zone and then watched as those teams beneath us gradually began closing the gap by inexplicably winning games out of nowhere. Re: Former Prem Teams in League 1

The Premier League has been around for 30 years now so this isn't really that surprising.

17 teams in the Championship and 3 in League Two are also ex-Prem. It won't be too long before one drops into non-league, although I wouldn't put it past us being the first the way things are going...
