Electricity tariff change. (4 replies)

So my 3 year fixed deal is up at end of March and the company i'm with is offering 4 rates... 3 of which require signing up to a smart meter. The fourth one is a higher rate of and a much higher standing charge.

I don't really want a smart meter but all the companies are generally saying most of their rates require a smart meter installed.

The guy I just spoke to couldn't really convince me of the supposed benefits of having one. I don't, for one minute, think it would change my power use if I did have one. Читать дальше...

Just go on Uswitch, see who’s the cheapest and swap to them.

A smart meter just uses more electricity to power it

Hi Dan great work again. A question for you. This Paul Suen is only interested in the Hong Kong listing. He does have many businesses I think, including shipping etc. Would it not be better for him to place one of his other profit making businesses in the BSH stable and get BCFC which is loss making out of BSH. That way the value of BSH would go even higher than at present. Just to me that would seem to make sense. I am no business man by the way.
