It was on this day in 1971 that I saw my first Blues home game. It was against Watford, and we won 2-0, with Phil Summerhill netting after just twelve seconds, and Trevor Francis after five minutes. If I remember correctly the terraces that day were pretty slippery and the game would have probably been called off in today's era. 50 years of joys and sorrows, and once a Bluenose always a Bluenose.

They are a cracking side, especially in Indian conditions.
I think Crawley, Sibley, Pope and Lawrence will do ok given time, and I think the'yre a step up from the likes of Denly, Burns, Jennings and Malan, for example.
