Beaufort our choc Lab is 13 now. One eye removed due to cancer and the other not so good these days but he is still full of life and loves his long off lead walks. Great exercise for me everyday as well, sun rain or snow out we go.
I will be in absolute bits when he decides to call it a day, not ashamed to say it but I will be shot cos I love him to pieces.

We finally took the plunge again, 12 months after losing our Bruno we felt ready to give another dog a home, for a long time I wasn't sure we would, but for anyone else in that situation - do it.
He's 15 weeks now, eating us out of house and home and eating the house too at times, but it's brilliant to have a dog around to walk and play with again. You don't realise how much a part of your life they are, just not the same without them.
