Premier League net spends

Small Heath Alliance

Some eye watering amounts in there. Vile and Dingles have spend half a billion on transfers between them in the last 5 years, not sure they have really got value out of any of that!

The blues badge (6 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Our original badge is obviously now behind the goal in the Tilton.

The Birmingham coat of arms.

Absolutely glorious to see.

Blue, white, red and yellow.

Interestingly, it says we had a temporary version of the current badge in those very colours in 92-93.

Just before my time, but I'd like to know what the reasoning was for that temporary change.

Changed to what it is now in 1976, before that the bloke was on the left. The Tudor rose on the crown was added for Sutton coldfield.
The bloke looks like he is carrying a toilet roll ????

I’d rather they went down than stayed down. Twerps

Re: Sam Cosgrove

Just watched the ITV highlights program from saturday.

Cosgrove has the 2nd best goal ratio for minutes played in the whole league after Haaland.

You choose - ground repairs or players

Small Heath Alliance

Which would you choose ?

A .. all ground repairs completed

B .. chuck the money on Sanderson, Trusty, Bielik, Longelo (as many as it will stretch to)

Do we finally have a back line ? (1 reply)

Small Heath Alliance

Nearly a third of the season gone so it’s not premature to be making too many observations, but do we finally have a back line that doesn’t make you angry every other game ?

Firstly Ruddy… been excellent. Kicking way better than Etheridge and pretty commanding.
Fair play to whoever scouted Trusty. Been excellent with clearly the correct attitude.
Sanderson we knew about but he seems a slightly better version this season.
Colin I think is better in the 3 than out wide but that durability has helped. Читать дальше...

Re: Hannibal this, Bielik that..

He was comfortable more or less throughout the whole time he was on the pitch, which says it all.
So happy to see him really contributing now.
Was pushing for him to be included over 12 months ago.

In fairness, it's probably his first failure in management isn't it?

He does look past it though, he should retire and get his health in order.

Vile. Sunderland?. Sheffield Wednesday. Newcastle
Yeah I'll give you Villa, I actually forgot he didn't get them up

Sunderland, he did ok didn't he? Had them around mid-table in the Prem
Sheff Wed, wasn't there long when he walked, but 29 points from 18 games, so did fine, play-off form

Brighton midfielder taken ill while on international duty with Zambia, finds out he's got a hereditary heart condition and he needs to immediately retire.

Football can be brutal.
