Disappointing from pompey. Started the season really well. No wins in the last 4 now though.

Bacuna and Eustace were great pieces of business previously as well.
Somebody somewhere is making the right decisions and long may it continue.
Very rarely are so many players recruited and there not be at least a couple of duds amongst them or in our case previously mostly duds amongst them!
Big test for us on Wednesday but we're in decent shape and I fancy us for at least a point.

Have to say we've got it spot on in the summer.

Ruddy, Sanderson, Trusty, Longelo, Placheta, Bielik, Chong, Hannibal, superb business.

All of them proving that they are more than able to contribute at our level and a number of those players could play comfortably in the top 6 of the championship.

What a pity we couldn't get the manager and players in in time for the start of pre-season. Its taken a bit of time for them to gel as a team but the signs nearly a third of the way in are very promising. Читать дальше...

Spectators came out to find their cars (presumably parked on the Redditch Road as onsite parking at Alvechurch is virtually non existent) had been 'keyed'.

The Alvechurch FC Twitter account dashed off a quick message blaming the Worksop fans.

With the group stages beginning on the 20th of November I’d imagine most squads would come together a week or two before the start for camp.

We have a game against Swansea on the 8th and Sunderland on the 11th.

Hannibal, Bielik, Trusty and JJ are all in with a shout of being selected to their respective nations. Would we lose them for the above games?

Likewise at the tail end, the Championship resumes after the group stages so if any teams advance (unlikely) we would be without them then as well.
