I thought I had seen it all in football with refereeing decisions but I've had one today against my U18's which has just about topped them all!
My player has made a tackle just outside the box and was probably 50/50 as to whether it was a foul or not. He maybe caught the player before the ball but it was a close one. Seen them given and not given.
Referee gives a free kick outside the box, no complaints. The opposition players are then in the refs face asking for a penalty. Читать дальше...
Refs get marked and am sure the decision will lower his overall score. Too many dodgy decisions like that and he won't be asked to ref many games.

In my whole life of watching football I've never ever seen what happened yesterday. Was at the moors game it was a 12.30 kick off. We were leaving the ground at just after 3pm and a couple of oldham fans had just turned up! Thinking it was a 3pm kick off! They asked if the game was off!
Didnt some supporter from abroad fly into the uk and went to Cardiff to watch Cardiff v Forest but the game was in Nottingham?

Can't get much motivation to watch Poland after their incredibly negative & dull performance vs Argentina, will watch until France score then go and do dinner in preparation for the main event of England vs Senegal.
I feel very edgy about England vs Senegal, especially looking back to England Cameroon in 1990, a game in which England were expected to ease through, but ended up 2-1 down before scraping it on a couple of penalties, never under estimate the opposition.

I was angry watching it. Officials and corners have a duty of care to the fighters involved. That fight being allowed to proceed beyond Round 6, was not only criminally and professionally negligent, but immoral. Been a bad night for the sport tonight.
We could have easily had a Blackwell, McLennan or Watson tragedy tonight. We need to be better and do better as a sport.
Gary Lineker yesterday made a point.
He thinks we should save him for a potential quarter final against France,in particular to marshall Mbappe.
Only just coming back from injury, he thinks we should use Trippier or Trent Alexander Arnold.
Arrogant or sound forward planning?.
I think I agree with him.

Of course they have different skillsets but Trippier is a quality player. I'd be starting Trippier tomorrow and bringing Walker on for some minutes second half and to close out the game if we're winning.
If losing, bring on Trent.
