Went with my son and grandkids to the Newcastle-Bournemouth game this week. It was pretty turgid, as Bournemouth slowed and stopped the game at every opportunity; players going down holding their heads when they weren’t injured (my only bugbear about the World Cup), players deciding just to sit down so the referee called the trainer on, keeper holding the ball for ever. They were clearly happy to see it 0-0 at the end, to the point where they had little interest in attacking. Toon fans were doing their nuts and entertainment it wasn’t. Читать дальше...
