I have quite enjoyed it, been some impressive individual performances, been plenty of shocks, Argentina fans have been outstanding, as have Morocco fans, so far for me best player Messi, best team I say Argentina, but no team as been over impressive in my opinion, you can't fault the Moroccan team they have been very good and lots of team spirit, now onto England, we got through an easy group but that was expected, we beat Senegal but I think had Mane been fit he would have had them 2 up if those chances had fallen to him when the game was 0-0... I actually think Friendy could be a half decent manager. Talks well about the game, smart, articulate, but the best thing is his nickname is Friendy. Win/win.

Frogs by 3 or more, hope I'm wrong but if they turn up and score first it will be very difficult for Morocco to open up and play expansive without conceding again.
For us to throw the kitchen sink at getting into the play offs? I'm not sure on our position regarding spending and the EFL but is it worth a mad gamble on getting out of this pony league and back into the big time and leaving our troubles behind? I know there are probably a million reasons not to do this but what happens at the end of this season? Loans go back, we may have to sell a few, what will be available to come in and how long will JE stay under our dire circumstances??
Plus everyone is forgetting, if we get to the prem we would have to use fecking VAR, so it's a no from me.

It’s etched on my memory like all the Oliver Postgate stuff. He did that through hypnosis!
Nothing beats Noggin the Nog though!
I think the bigger issue is that three team groups means a greater risk of collusion between the two teams playing the third group game....though I think there has been some suggestion there may be penalties for the group games to avoid draws.
But Qatar gave us a couple of great examples of how exciting having the third games played at the same time can be.
Don't think they will go back on the move to 48 teams as sounds like infantino effectively got votes on the basis of increasing the number of teams. Читать дальше...
Why not somehow get it down to 32 teams left in from 48 (if that happens) and then an F.A Cup type draw? One game knock out.

Liked Danns. Always 100 per cent every game. Just glad he skied his effort at Bolton when we did the great escape. Good player, sad to see him leave. Hope he gets success there.
Great set of pics. Still can't forget Ian Handysides tragic death. Man Utd sent a team for his testimonial and wouldn't take any expenses. Smashing gesture. Seeing him with his bandaged head helped onto the pitch to kick off was heartbreaking. R.I.P Ian.
Potentially huge breakthrough by the Californian's.

Managed to create more more energy from a fusion experiment than was put in.
'The experiment was only able to produce enough energy to boil about 15-20 kettles and required billions of dollars of investment. And although the experiment got more energy out than the laser put in, this did not include the energy needed to make the lasers work - which was far greater than the amount of energy the hydrogen produced'
Gonna buy mine on Friday at the game if they are still available by then. If not then I'm not bothered. Not trusting the post.
