i was young back then and never took an interest in football games until i was much older is there anyone on here who could describe the excitement, joy and happiness of gaining promotion to the premier league that day
People are saying euphoria but for me beating the vile 3-0 on Boxing day 82/83 and the Leyland daf were euphoric. We had been a yo-yo team bouncing back from relegation but this was a 16 year hiatus with 3 play off disappointments previously. When Carter scored it meant a return to the big time, our first time in the Premiership and genuinely exciting times.
I'm intrigued.
3 points for Blues please.
Blues win, always.
Here we go again, potentially on for a huge tussle between rivals Brazil and Argentina in the Semi-Finals, that would be great to see although veterans Croatia could pull off the shock of all shocks by beating Brazil, which would alter the layout of this World Cup in a huge way.
Tilton shark
Bang average so far IMO
Valdano is a proper thinker. There's a stream of football intellect in Latin America. The writer Eduardo Galeano for instance. To some extent, Socrates.

Main noise, noise….
60s not today.
70s no skips
80s not today, knew the voice, chose wrong tracks like John.
90s Nope, knew the song
00s Nope, knew this too, but can only please old age.
Missed the first session, but it really feels like I'm watching the end of the days play....... despite them just coming out after lunch. 180-5 in a session. Loving this "brand" of cricket!
In past series this would be England’s score at close of play on this sort of wicket, I reckon
Edit - Ahmed all 6 on debut
Hi all,
Is there a site where you can buy last minute flights? Not lastminute.com.....but:
I worked with a bloke a few years back who used to be able to fly all over europe at a discounted price because he'd book flights 3/4 days before flying out.
I remember him telling me he'd just turn up to the airport and see what's there but i'm sure he used sites too.
Is anyone aware of this?

Spot on. Knew a chap some years ago and he lost nearly 25/26 thousand due to bad advice. Dog with a bone he was though and got it back with some compensation.Never chase the proverbial fast buck. Really not worth it and all the hassle that goes with it.
Another cracking cup game and congrats! ????
